Privacy
Effective September 14, 2026
Halation collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and the app never sends anything over the internet.
Your photos
Photos you take are processed entirely on your iPhone and saved to your own Photos library. They are never uploaded, shared with us, or sent anywhere else. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple syncs your library under Apple's own privacy policy, as it does for any photo on your device.
Permissions
- Camera: to take photos.
- Photos: add: to save the photos you take.
- Photos: read: to show the photos you've taken with Halation and to open a photo you choose to edit.
You can change any of these at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
What stays on your device
Your settings and looks are stored inside the app on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
What we don't do
- No sign-up or personal information.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs that collect data.
- No selling or sharing of data, because there is none to share.
Children
Halation doesn't collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new effective date.
